DS Smith Speciality Packaging at Launceston worked closely with North Down Dairies to develop a retail ready pack for leading cheese brand, Pilgrim's Choice. which and likely to be taken up widely by other types of product.
The 'R.D.P' (Retail Display Pack) is unique to the dairy sector. It is remarkably quick and easy to use in store with the top of the pack able to be removed literally in a second to form an attractive display case.
Because the new pack restricts the perforations to the top of the box, it has totally eliminated the problem of unsightly tears on the front and side of the pack which worries some retailers.
The pack is extremely strong as well as easy to convert. The flexo pre print allows high quality brand image to be reflected in store.
