Pack produces significant savings
For Nature’s Way Foods, DS Smith Corrugated at Devizes breathed new life into a tired and underperforming display pack by redesigning a stackable display tray to make it easier to erect and to maximise the display area.
The one piece pack met all the criteria and achieved important savings including 20% less make up time (worth £15000 in labour costs) and a reduction of 25% in pallet movements owing to the use of B flute material.
What’s more the new pack cost 16% less than the old pack, giving total estimated savings in excess of £20,000.
