Premier Foods enlisted DS Smith Speciality Packaging’s expertise when it needed to improve distribution of its tinned products to Sainsbury’s. A simple layer pad, coated both sides with a new product called ‘Grab-Cote’ has transformed the whole process.
Grab-Cote is an innovative high tech coating specially created to increase cohesion between corrugated cases. Whereas slippage normally occurs at an angle of 15°, Grab-Cote more than doubles the traction point to 30°.
