Ingenious construction
DS Smith Cartons at Neath produced six cartons for Asda’s SX Skin Care range which were designed to reduce the size options across the range. The packs are blind embossed with a satin varnish to increase tactile appeal.
Clever construction has reduced packing time by 15% and savings in pack costs of 17%. A single carton has been created for 4 of the skin care products. On one of the packs, a fitment integral to the tuck in flaps can be snapped into place as the top flaps are closed.
This range of packs combines constructional skill and innovation in pack processing.
